Day 2 of Haakon & Mette-Marit's Oppland visit

Today, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit continued their 3-days trip to Oppland county.

Their first stop was Skjåk, one of the driest municipalities in Norway. The theme of the visit was “water” as a precondition for life in the village, but also as a threat to the village. Haakon & Mette-Marit first visited Ofossen mill, Norway's oldest mill in operation before visiting the new children and youth school.

Then, they drove to Lom for a visit focusing on well-being and health through activity and food. They visited Lom Helseheim and Mountain Center.

Aktivitet av alle slag sto i sentrum da Kronprinsparet besøkte Lom i dag. Aktiv læring i skolen, en aktiv og trygg skolevei, og aktivitet for eldre. Elevrådsleder Mohammed var med og viste omkring på Loar skule der skolebarna drev med fotball, sykkel, utesjakk og mye annet. Kronprins Haakon åpnet Brubakken trafikkmiljøtiltak, og besøkte eldreheimen der sykling er et tilbud for eldre som vil holde seg i form. Mette-Marit wore a new H&M Conscious Collection dress with her burgundy Prada leather boots. She also wore a hooded double-breasted jacket.
