King Felipe and Queen Letizia open the 2019/2020 royal theater season

Tonight, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the inauguration of the 23rd Season of the Royal Theater. This is an annual event for the couple.

This year’s opening performance is "Don Carlo" by Giuseppe Verdi. It is the first time the piece is performed at the Royal Theater since May 2005. Other pieces that will be performed during the season include "L'elisir d'amore", "The Magic Flute", "La traviata" and "The Valkyrie".

Letizia wore a new white dress by Spanish brand LoLa Li which she paired with her Manolo Blahnik Gotranc pumps and a new black Giorgio Armani bag.
