King Felipe and Queen Letizia attend commemorative event for Barcelona 92 Olympics
On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the commemorative event of the participation of the Spanish team in the Barcelona 92 and Albertville 92 Olympic Games.
In his speech, King Felipe said: “Barcelona'92 was a great collective success. The most visible protagonists, the athletes and teams, fought and shone like never before in the competitions, and set a true benchmark for Spanish sport. But it was more than that, because those Olympic Games were also an organizational achievement and an impressive manifestation of enthusiasm and popular appreciation (Volunteers!). They put Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain at the top.”
Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera suit with her Hugo Boss top and her Patrizia Pepe pumps. She paired the outfit with Barbara Goenaga earrings (with thanks to Nuria) and her Coreterno ring.
