King Felipe and Queen Letizia attend engagements in Barcelona

On Monday evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended engagements in Barcelona. They first met with the Spanish artistic swimming team and the Spanish men's and women's water polo teams, which took part in the Fukuoka Swimming World Cup at Albéniz Palace.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then attended the first edition of the “La Vanguardia Awards”. The Awards recognize the work of entities, institutions, companies and people who carry out their activity in the social spheres, economic, political or cultural.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia presented the awards to this year’s winners: Sol Daurella (Businesswoman of the Year), Marc Puig (Businessman of the Year), Ignacio Cirac (Innovation), Alba Farelo (International Young Talent), Lita Cabellut (Culture), Grant Dalton (Impulso Cities), Josep Piqué and Juan Antonio Samaranch (In Memoriam).

Queen Letizia wore a Dries Van Noten dress with Carolina Herrera earrings, her Coreterno ring, and her Massimo Dutti pumps. For the awards ceremony, she changed into Carolina Herrera pumps and a Carolina Herrera clutch.
