The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visit Malta - Day 1
On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh started a four-day official visit to Malta to mark the country’s 60th anniversary of independence. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were first officially received by the President of Malta Myriam Spiteri Debono and her partner at the Grandmaster's Palace in Valletta.
Afterward, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh met with the Prime Minister of Malta Robert Abela and his wife Lydia Abela.
In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended a Commonwealth Reception hosted by the British High Commissioner Katherine Ward.
The Duchess of Edinburgh first wore a Gabriela Hearst dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Strathberry bag. She paired the outfit with her Roxanne Assoulin and Monica Vinader bracelets.
In the evening, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore an Erdem dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps. She also wore Giulia Barela earrings (with thanks to Royal British Fashion).
