French State Visit to Sweden - Day 1
On Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron started a two-day State Visit to Sweden.

The Presidential Couple was officially welcomed by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia at the Royal Caste this morning.
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted an official lunch for the President and First Lady. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Sofia also attended.

In the afternoon, Queen Silvia and Brigitte Macron visited the Rinkeby School where they met students and heard presentations by the student health team and the student council.

They then visited the Museum of Modern Art where the Swedish Institute and the Institut Français are hosting a seminar on how the exchange in the fields of visual and performing arts can be strengthened, with a particular focus on regional development and reaching a young audience.
In the evening, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a gala dinner for the French Presidential Couple. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Sofia also attended.

Queen Silvia first wore a new printed outfit with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets and her Chanel gloves.
In the evening, Queen Silvia wore a repeated gown with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Judith Leiber clutch. She also wore the Cameo Tiara and jewels.

Crown Princess Victoria first wore a Pär Engsheden coatdress with Gianvito Rossi pumps and a Susan Szatmary clutch. She paired the outfit with a Tim Mårtenson headband, her Chaumet earrings, and her Epoch watch.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore her H&M gown with her Anya Hindmarch clutch and the Cut Steel Tiara.

Princess Sofia first wore her Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini dress and Versace pumps.
In the evening, Princess Sofia wore a Lars Wallin gown with her Charlotte Olympia pumps and her Christian Louboutin clutch. She also wore her LWL Jewelry ring with her Wedding Tiara.
