Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit's visit to Sweden - Day 3
Today, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit spent their third and last day in Sweden. Sadly, Crown Princess Mette-Marit had to pull out of today’s agenda because of her health.
In the early morning, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and Crown Prince Haakon traveled from Stockholm to Gothenburg by train.
After their arrival in Gothenburg, the royal trio attended a symposium on renewable energy at Lindholmen Science Park.
Afterward, they visited the Maritime Dynamics Laboratory where they learned more about the Orcelle Wind concept, the green shipping industry, and wind-powered ro-ro vessels.
After lunch, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and Crown Prince Haakon went on board the research vessel Skagerak to hear more about the ship's capacity and the research, education, and collaboration in different fields of maritime science.
The official visit ended with a reception at the House of Norway where students from the University of Stage and Music at the University of Gothenburg performed.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her By Malina suit with her Saint Laurent bag and af Klingberg ankle boots. She paired the outfit with her Edblad earrings, Sophie by Sophie bracelet, Epoch watch, and a Corinne hairband. At the train station, she also carried a new Loro Piana scarf.
