Swedish Royal Family attends meeting on child protection in Ukraine
Today, King Carl-Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and Princess Sofia attended a meeting on child protection in Ukraine at the Royal Palace.
During the meeting, representatives of 22 organizations such as Save the Children, the Red Cross, the Scouts, SOS Children’s Villages, UNHCR, and Unicef talked about their current work in Ukraine.
In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “Everywhere there are vulnerable children, rescued children, lonely children - there is also violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. Perpetrators exploit chaos. This has been the case in all wars and conflicts. It is the case now. You, and the organizations you represent, are among those who understand best and can make a difference in situations like these.”
Queen Silvia wore a red jacket over a black and white outfit with Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and a Longchamp bag.
Crown Princess Victoria wore the same outfit as earlier in the day: Mayla jacket, Gant shirt, H&M skirt, repeated pumps, and By Malene Birger clutch. She paired the outfit with her CravingFor Jewelry earrings, her Epoch watch, and her usual stack of bracelets.
Princess Sofia wore a black jumper with a Rodebjer skirt. She paired the outfit with her Stinaa.J pumps and her AVAVAV bag.
