Danish Royal Family attends official lunch celebrating Queen Margrethe's Golden Jubilee
On Saturday, the Danish Royal Family attended an official lunch a Copenhagen City Hall celebrating Queen Margrethe’s Golden Jubilee.
Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, and Princess Benedikte were in attendance to celebrate Queen Margrethe.
In her speech, Queen Margrethe said: “I would like to thank the Lord Mayor for the beautiful words on the occasion of my jubilee and for the gift that Copenhagen is giving me. I hope that the many cherry trees may thrive and bloom for the joy of many, many people. Under them, the children will play, people will go for a walk or experience large public gatherings, young people - and the elderly - will rush off to keep fit in the early hours of the morning, yes, all day long and into the evening. It is good to think about: May the little trees experience many, many years, and may the city of Copenhagen thrive and flourish for many more years than a cherry tree can hope for.”
After the lunch, Queen Margrethe appeared on the City Hall’s balcony to greet the crowd.
Queen Margrethe wore a pink outfit with her Marc Jacobs bag.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Harris Wharf London coat with her Iris & Ink dress, her Jimmy Choo pumps, and her Quidam clutch. She paired the outfit with her Bruun Rasmussen earrings and her Jane Taylor headband.
Princess Marie wore an Emporio Armani outfit with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Bottega Veneta clutch. She also wore her Van Cleef & Arpels earrings and her Georg Jensen Jubilee brooch.
Princess Benedikte wore a Wichmann Couture outfit with her Launer bag and her Christian Dior watch.
