Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visit Kronoberg County
Today, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Kronoberg County to learn about their response to the pandemic.
The couple first visited Högåsen's special accommodation in Alvesta which is the place that was first affected by the pandemic in the county.
They met with healthcare workers and caregivers who told them about the difficult experience.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel went to the Governor’s residence where they had lunch with representatives from municipalities, the Kronoberg Region, and the business community to hear more about how the pandemic affected the county.
In the afternoon, the Crown Princess Couple visited Södra's head office in Växjö to learn more about how smaller companies had to come up with new solutions to survive during the pandemic.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel ended their county visit at Arenastaden which is a center for sports, education, leadership, and events.
They met with discus thrower Daniel Ståhl, shot putter Fanny Roos, and their coach Vésteinn Hafsteinsson to learn more about how sports have been affected during the pandemic.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a new jacket by Remake Stockholm over a new Odd Molly jumper and A Day’s March grey trousers with her Af Klingberg boots and Saint Laurent bag. She also wore new Edblad earrings, her H&M necklace, her Epoch watch, and her usual stack of bracelets. She also wore a new pink bracelet that was designed for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
