The Nobel Prize celebrations in Sweden span two days. On 10th December the prizes are presented in the presence of the royals, who then attend a banquet. Then on 11th December the King hosts a banquet for the Nobel laureates at the Royal Palace.
For the 2016 prize giving which we have just witnessed, the Crown Princess wore the Cut Steel Tiara so we thought it would be appropriate to focus on the last time Victoria wore the Cut Steel Tiara to the prize giving: the 2010 Nobel Prize Ceremony.
Victoria wore the Cut Steel Tiara with a toffee coloured dress by one of her favourite designers, Elie Saab. The dress had a beaded bodice and sleeves with a floating chiffon skirt. The Crown Princess accessorised with heels from Roger Vivier and some family heirlooms as jewellery. You can see the front and the eye catching back of the dress clearly below:
The 2010 Nobel Prize is particularly memorable as it was Prince Daniel's first year attending the ceremony. Victoria certainly pulled out a beautiful look for the special occasion.
