Queen Letizia's Cooperation Trip to Cabo Verde - Day 2
On Tuesday, Queen Letizia spent her second day in Cabo Verde where she is undertaking a cooperation trip. She first visited the Spanish Embassy where she held a meeting with Spanish cooperation agencies.
Afterward, Queen Letizia traveled to Pedra Badejo where she visited the "Women's Empowerment and Economic Autonomy" project. She met with students of the dressmaking course and with women beneficiaries of the project.
Queen Letizia then joined the First Lady of Cabo Verde at a shelter to learn more about its project to improve access to resources and quality care for women and girls victims of gender-based violence.
In the afternoon, Queen Letizia visited Porto Mosquito to hear more about the project "Pilot program for the localization of the SDGs in Cabo Verde, with a focus on reducing inequalities - Comprehensive Development of the rural community of Porto Mosquito, in partnership with the United Nations."
In the evening, Queen Letizia attended a reception with the Spanish cooperation agency at the Spanish Embassy.
Queen Letizia wore the shirt and jacket of the Spanish Cooperation with khaki trousers and her Vivobarefoot boots. She paired the outfit with her Carolina Herrera sunglasses and her Coreterno ring.
