King Frederik and Queen Mary's Summer Tour - Day 4
On Thursday, King Frederik and Queen Mary spent the last day of their summer tour in Vejle. After arriving with the Royal Ship Dannebrog at Vejle Harbor, the Royal Couple attended an official reception at Vejle Town Hall.
Afterward, King Frederik and Queen Mary visited the Kong Gauers Gård. It is a daycare and nursing home with common areas and activities for children and the elderly.
King Frederik and Queen Mary then visited and had lunch at Fjordenhus, Vejle's iconic building on the harbor designed by the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. In the afternoon, King Frederik and Queen Mary visited the Welcon company to learn more about how they manufacture large-scale turnkey steel tower structures for the international renewable energy sector based on wind turbines.
The Royal Couple then visited Vejle Climate Park which contains Rødkilde Gymnasium, general housing construction and private housing. The park is an important part of the city's climate protection. They then walked through the city and posed for photos in front of The Wave, a modern residential complex inspired by the Sydney Opera House.
In the evening, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted an official reception on the Royal Ship Dannebrog.
Queen Mary first wore her Prada jacket with her Proenza Schouler top and her Baum und Pferdgarten skirt. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Max Mara bag. In the afternoon, she wore her Harris Wharf London trench coat and ber Prada ballet flats. Queen Mary also wore her Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet.
In the evening, Queen Mary wore a Saloni dress with her Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry necklaces and her Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet.
