King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima's working visit to the US - Day 2
On Tuesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their second day in the United States as they are undertaking a working visit to Georgia and New York. They began their day with a meeting with Mayor Van Johnson at City Hall.
Afterward, they walked in the historic center of Savannah where they heard more about the challenges and opportunities to revitalize the city center.
Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited Savannah State University where they visited the Marine Science Center and talked with students and black entrepreneurs about entrepreneurship and international ambitions.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima also visited the Port of Savannah where they attended a business session on sustainable port development and hinterland and connectivity.
In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a networking reception at the Telfair Museum.
Queen Maxima first wore her Christian Dior dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Hermes clutch. She also wore her Isabella Fa necklace, her Dinh Van bracelet, a Lili Fracchia bracelet (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima), and her Tom Ford glasses.
In the evening, Queen Maxima wore a Natan Couture dress with Gianvito Rossi sandals and her Sophie Habsburg clutch.
