Denmark
Throughout December, King Frederik and Queen Mary highlighted Danish Christmas traditions on Advent Sundays. Queen Mary first visited Grundtvigs Church in Bispebjerg where she joined future confirmants to talk about Christmas traditions and sing psalms.

On the third Advent Sunday, Queen Mary visited Funen Village in Odense to learn more about Christmas traditions of the farming community.

Queen Mary also visited Kræftværket at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen ahead of Christmas. Kræftværket is a safe place for young cancer patients that opened in 2015 at Rigshospitalet and Queen Mary has been visiting the patients there around Christmas time for a few years now.

During the holidays, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar sent a Christmas greeting from Älvrosgården at Skansen where they learned more about the history behind candle lighting and how to light their own candles before Christmas.

Earlier this month, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared their 2024 Christmas Card which featured a still photo from their family video released in September.

For their 2024 digital Christmas card, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose photos from several of their events this year as well as a new family photo with their children.
For their 2024 Christmas Card, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh chose a photo from the couple’s visit to Villa Guardamangia in Malta as well as a photo from their 25th wedding anniversary photoshoot.
In the photo taken at Villa Guardamangia, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore her ARossGirl x Soler blouse with a Zimmermann skirt. She paired the outfit with her Penelope Chilvers shoes and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her Monica Vinader bracelet and her Giulia Barela ring.
