Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine attend Childhood Prize 2024

On Thursday, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine attended the presentation of the Childhood Prize 2024 in Stockholm. The Childhood Prize is presented by the World Childhood Foundation and aims to recognize the work of a person who works in a preschool as preschool staff form a very important part of the safety net around children.

This year’s Childhood Prize winner is Anette Bergmasth, principal at Elineberg's preschools in Helsingborg. When announcing the winner, Princess Madeleine said: “With courage, warmth, and "feet on the floor" you contribute to an open, inclusive, and safe preschool where the children learn to respect and appreciate differences. You involve the children in the daily activities, encourage them to participate, and equip them for the future. You have a unique ability to combine a genuine commitment to the best interests of the children with a systematic leadership that creates ripples in the water.”

Queen Silvia wore a repeated outfit with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.

Princess Madeleine wore a Max Mara velvet suit with a Max Mara blouse, her Gianvito Rossi pumps, and her Céline bag. She also wore repeated earrings and her Cartier bracelet.
