Swedish Royal Family hosts gala dinner for Nobel laureates
On Wednesday evening, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted the traditional dinner for the Nobel Laureates at the Royal Palace. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl-Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine, and Christopher O’Neill also attended.
The Royal Family first gave a small reception in Lovisa Ulrika's dining room for the 2024 Nobel Laureates and their partners.
Afterward, the Royal Family and the Laureates moved to the Ballroom. There, they greeted other guests from the Riksdag, the government, the diplomatic corps, academies, research and science, and the Nobel Foundation among others.
The official dinner was then served in Karl XI's gallery with each member of the Royal Family sitting between Nobel Laureates.
Queen Silvia wore her Camilla Thulin gown with her Manolo Blahnik pumps and a repeated clutch. She paired the outfit with the Nine Prong Tiara and her usual stack of bracelets.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her H&M Conscious Collection gown and her Swarovski clutch. She wore the Laurel Wreath Tiara.
Princess Sofia wore a Pär Engsheden gown which was first worn by Crown Princess Victoria at the 2011 Nobel Prize Ceremony. She paired the outfit with her Stinaa.J pumps and a blue clutch. She also wore LWL Jewelry earrings with bracelets by Vanbruun and Rare Jewelry. She also wore the Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara for the first time.
Princess Madeleine wore her Albert Ferretti gown with her Cartier bracelet. She also wore the Cut Steel Tiara for the first time.
