Swedish Royal Family attends 2024 Nobel Prize Ceremony
On Sunday, the Swedish Royal Family attended the 2024 Nobel Prize Ceremony.
During the official ceremony, the King handed out the prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, and Literature as well as the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. The Queen and the Crown Princess couple were watching from the stage while Prince Carl-Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine, and Christopher O’Neill were in the audience.
Following the ceremony, an official gala dinner took place with the Royal Family in attendance. Tomorrow evening, the King will host another gala dinner for the Nobels Laureates at the Royal Palace.
Queen Silvia wore her Maknam dark blue gown with Brunate pumps, a repeated clutch, and her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets. She paired the outfit with the Leuchtenberg Sapphire Tiara.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a Christer Lindarw tulle and rhinestones gown with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Judith Leiber clutch. She wore the Baden Fringe Tiara, the Pink Topaz earrings, and the Diamond Zig-Zag bracelet.
Princess Sofia wore a Soeren Le Schmidt gown, which she first wore in her Vogue Scandinavia’s 40th birthday shoot, with her Charlotte Olympia pumps and a Cartier bag. Princess Sofia paired the outfit with Orrling Jewellery London blue topaz earrings, a bespoke Rare Jewelry earrings, and her Vanbruun ring. She also wore her wedding tiara with London blue topaz gemstones and a LWL Jewelry brooch made to match the tiara.
Princess Madeleine wore a Fadi El Khoury green off-the-shoulder gown featuring a voluminous skirt at the back. The gown was hand embroidered with a combination of sequins and crystal beads. She paired the gown with her Valentino pumps with a Linda Nurk bag featuring embroidery by Fadi El Khoury to match the gown. She also wore her Cartier bracelet and her Vanbruun ring. She wore the Connaught Diamond Tiara.
