Queen Mary visits Brazil - Day 2

On Thursday, Queen Mary spent her second day in Brazil as she is undertaking an official visit in the country to strengthen cooperation and deepen the Danish-Brazilian relationship.

Queen Mary spent the day in Manaus where she first visited the National Research Institute for the Amazon Forest.

Afterward, Queen Mary visited the Center for Bioeconomy in the Amazon Forest (CBA), which was established in Manaus in 2002 and aims to promote sustainable development in the Amazon region.


Queen Mary then had lunch at a local restaurant that prepares food with the sustainable use of products harvested and produced by indigenous people. The restaurant also employs a lot of indigenous people.

Queen Mary wore her Sandro dress with her Gianvito Rossi sandals. She paired the outfit with her Halberstadt necklace, her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, and her Rebekka Notkin bracelet.
