The Global Child Forum gathers global leaders as well as experts, NGOs, government, and academia, to discuss how “new business models can be developed to tackle the growing challenges facing children today.”.
This year’s forum gathered 100 delegates from more than 25 countries under the theme “Engaging Youth as Key Stakeholders in Business”. Key highlights of the forum included a panel discussion led by Sweden’s UN Youth Representative Bitanya Kassaye exploring how children’s rights can be embedded in corporate strategies. as well as an exclusive briefing on the 2024 State of Children’s Rights & Business Report.
In his opening speech, King Carl Gustaf said: “Today, I would like to highlight a vital aspect of our mission: the importance of truly listening to children. Too often, children's voices - full of hope, ideas, and unique perspectives - are ignored. Young people are directly impacted by our decisions on issues such as education, health, and social policies. They deserve to have a voice in how these decisions are made.”
Crown Princess Victoria wore her By Malina taupe pantsuit with a Vesna W blouse. She paired the outfit with her Marzio ankle boots and her By Malene Birger clutch. She also wore new Skultuna x Lara Bohinc earrings.
