Queen Maxima attends World Economic Forum
This week, Queen Maxima attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in her role as the UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance. Queen Maxima arrived in Davos on Tuesday afternoon when she attended a few bilateral meetings.
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima first took part in a roundtable discussion titled “Financial Health: Key to Empowerment and Sustainable Development”.
Afterward, Queen Maxima held meetings with Colombia's President Gustavo Petro, UNEP Executive Director Inger Anderson, and IFAD President Alvaro Lario to discuss financial inclusion and financial health.
On Thursday, Queen Maxima took part in the "Comparing Notes on Financial Inclusion" session with Serey Chea, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, Mounir Nakhla, Founder and CEO of MNT Investments BV, and Iain Williamson, CEO of Old Mutual Emerging Markets Limite.
Queen Maxima also attended more bilateral meetings with Ilan Goldfajn, President of the Inter-American Development Bank, and more.
During her stay in Davos, Queen Maxima also attended the Global Goals Dinner where she highlighter financial health as a catalyst for achieving the SDGs.
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima wore her Max Mara coat with her Natan suit, her Gianvito Rossi boots, and her Delvaux bag.
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima wore her Joseph suit and top with her Alicia Audrey coat and her Gianvito Rossi ankle boots.
On Thursday, Queen Maxima wore a Natan Couture x Alicia Audrey cape with a Natan outfit and her Gianvito Rossi ankle boots. She paired the outfit with Luz Camino earrings (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima) and her Dinh Van and Marianna Goulandris bracelets.
At the Global Goals Dinner, Queen Maxima wore an Etro suit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps.
