Belgian Royal Family celebrates National Day
On Friday, the Belgian Royal Family celebrated Belgium’s National Day which also marked the 10 years of reign of King Philippe.
King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eléonore first attended a Te Deum mass in Brussels. For the first time in 10 years, King Albert and Queen Paola were also in attendance.
Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz also attended a Te Deum mass in Wavre.
King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eléonore then attended the traditional military and civil parade with Princess Astrid, Prince Lorenz, Prince Laurent, Princess Claire, as well as Princess Delphine and her husband. Princess Elisabeth and Prince Gabriel took part in the military parade with the Royal Military Academy.
In the afternoon, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, and their children visited the Village of Defense and met the crowds waiting to celebrate them.
n the evening, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eléonore as well as Prince Laurent’s family and Princess Delphine’s family attended a concert and fireworks.
Queen Mathilde first wore a Natan dress with her Natan pumps, her Fabienne Delvigne clutch, and a Fabienne Delvigne hat.
In the afternoon, Queen Mathilde wore a Bernadette dress with her Natan pumps and her Carolina Herrera earrings.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore her Carolina Herrera top with black trousers and Giorgio Armani sandals. She also wore her Percossi Papi earrings and her Angela Caputi bracelet.
Princess Elisabeth first wore a Natan dress with Gianvito Rossi sandals and a Natan clutch. She also wore a Fabienne Delvigne hat and jewels borrowed from her mother.
In the afternoon, Princess Elisabeth wore a The Kooples dress with nude sandals, her mother’s Fabienne Delvigne clutch, and Percossi Papi earrings.
In the evening, Princess Elisabeth wore a Diane von Furstenberg flower printed dress with Aquazzura pumps, a Giorgio Armani clutch, and Carolina Herrera earrings.
Princess Eleonore first wore a Maje dress with nude pumps.
In the afternoon, Princess Eleonore wore another Maje dress with the same pumps. In the evening, she wore a flower printed maxi dress.
