Queen Maxima visits educational expertise center De Berkenschutse and inclusive residential area of Kloostervelden
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima visited the educational expertise center De Berkenschutse and the inclusive residential area of Kloostervelden which are both connected to Stichting Kempenhaeghe in Heeze-Leende, a center of expertise for people with complex epilepsy, sleep disorders, and neurological learning and developmental disorders.
In De Berkenschutse, Queen Maxima spoke with children, parents, and teachers about how the school combines education and specialist care. In Kloostervelden, Queen Maxima spoke with clients and care providers about living in the district where modern care homes are surrounded by private houses.
