Queen Silvia attends Nordic meeting on dementia
On Tuesday, Queen Silvia attended a Nordic meeting on dementia organized by the Dementia Association in Stockholm.
In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “The theme of the conference is "A dementia-friendly society for younger people with dementia". It is a group that is often forgotten and does not receive the support they are entitled to from society. A younger person with a cognitive disorder is affected in the middle of life, when they are working, have a family and children at home. It is important that we all start from each individual's unique life situation, needs, and wishes.”
Later, Queen Silvia joined King Carl Gustaf as they hosted a reception for the American Swedish Institute at the Palace.
Queen Silvia wore her Georg & Arend suit with her Chanel flats and her Joan Rivers brooch.
