On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia presided over the ceremony of the 2021 National Sports Awards at the Royal Palace in Madrid.

The awards aim to recognize the people who have made an outstanding contribution to promoting sports either as individuals or as teams. The 2021 winners include Jon Rahm Rodríguez, Alexia Putellas, Alberto Ginés, the National Hospital for Paraplegics of Toledo, and the Navarro Sports Institute among others.
