The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Colombia - Day 3

On Thursday, the Duchess of Edinburgh spent her third day in Colombia where she is undertaking engagements in support of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda (WPS).

She first visited the La Licorera, the city’s cultural center for dance and choreography, where she learned more about the British Council’s new Creative Bootcamp: Dance and Peace program. She also met with dancers from the Colombian Ballet Institute to hear about the positive role the arts played in healing communities and building peace.

The event also marked the one-year anniversary of the Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict International Conference which took place in London last year.
