Spanish State Visit to Denmark - Day 1
On Monday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia started a three-day State Visit to Denmark. The Royal Couple departed Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Madrid in late morning.
Upon their arrival in Copenhagen, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were officially welcomed by Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince Couple, and Princess Benedikte at Copenhagen Airport.
The Royal Couple, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, and Crown Princess Mary then traveled to Amalienborg Palace where a private meeting took place.
King Felipe also met with his godson Prince Vincent.
King Felipe also met with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, and Danish Ministers at Christianborg Palace.
In the evening, Queen Margrethe held a gala dinner in honor of King Felipe and Queen Letizia with the Crown Prince Couple and Princess Benedikte in attendance.
The Royal Couple, Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince Couple, and Princess Benedikte greeted the guests before the dinner.
Both Queen Margrethe and King Felipe made speeches during the dinner which was held at Christianborg Palace.
When departing Madrid, Queen Letizia wore her Mango coat with a Hugo Boss jacket, black trousers, and her Unisa boots. She also wore her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
In Copenhagen, Queen Letizia wore her & Other Stories coat with her Carolina Herrera dress and Magrit accessories. She paired the outfit with Queen Sofia’s earrings and her Coreterno ring.
Queen Margrethe wore a fuchsia outfit with her Marc Jacobs bag and a Mathilde Førster hat.
Crown Princess Mary wore her The Fold coat with a Scanlan Theodore dress, her Valentino pumps, and her Quidam clutch. She also wore her Bruun Rasmussen earrings, her Dulong bracelet, and her Ole Lynggaard brooch.
Princess Benedikte wore a Wichmann Couture dress and her Launer bag.
In the evening, Queen Letizia wore her Felipe Varela gown with her Coreterno ring and Queen Ena’s Fleur de Lys Tiara.
Queen Margrethe wore her Birgitte Thaulow gown with Queen Caroline Amalie’s Emerald Tiara.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Lasse Spangenberg gown with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her J. Furmani clutch. She also wore her Bruun Rasmussen earrings, her Julie Sandlau and Halberstadt necklaces, and her Ruby & Spinel Necklace Tiara.
