Crown Princess Mary unveils 2023 Christmas Stamp and attends conference on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
On Friday, Crown Princess Mary attended two events in Copenhagen. She first attended the unveiling of this year’s Christmas Stamp as Patron of the Christmas Stamp Foundation.
The special Christmas stamp is unveiled each year since 1904 and aims to raise money for children in Denmark's five Christmas Stamp Homes. In these homes, 1,000 children can stay each year and receive help to fight loneliness, bullying, and social isolation.
Afterward, Crown Princess Mary attended the "Towards world-class child and youth psychiatry” conference organized by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Psychiatry Foundation. Crown Princess Mary is Patron of the Psychiatric Foundation.
During the conference, Crown Princess Mary learned more about the “Mind My Mind" project which is an evidence-based effort offered to children and young people who have anxiety, depression, and/or behavioral disorders, as well as the “Challenge” project which helps the treatment of schizophrenics using an avatar in virtual reality.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Fonnesbesh coat with a Saloni dress and her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Dulong and Rebekka Notkin bracelets.
