Crown Princess Victoria made a speech in German during the ceremony. She said: “Our countries are united in a community of values, in our understanding of freedom, democracy and human rights, in our European and international commitment. And we are even closer together today than before. Since February 2022, the world has been using the word 'turning point'. Sweden is also currently experiencing such a turning point and, with its accession to NATO, is the biggest change in security policy since the Napoleonic Wars. Europe is coming together now to address the challenges facing our continent. At the same time, the big questions of the future must be addressed, such as environmental and climate protection as well as the opportunities and risks of new technologies. This will require extraordinary efforts. But I am convinced that these efforts will be made and that Swedish-German cooperation will be expanded even further in this new era.”
When traveling on Saturday, Crown Princess Victoria wore her Veronica Beard blazer.
On Sunday, Crown Princess Victoria wore her Pär Engsheden dress with her Andiata coat. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps, her By Malina clutch, and her Handsbutiken gloves. She also wore a Tim Mårtenson handmade headpiece and brooch.
