Queen Maxima visits Kenya - Day 1
On Monday, Queen Maxima started a three-day official visit to Kenya as part of her work as UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.
Queen Maxima first met with the Governor of Kisumu Peter Anyang Nyon.
Afterward, Queen Maxima met with farmers who have been using a digital insurance product from an insurance technology company called Pula.
She also met with farmers who use the Hello Tractor digital platform which facilitates tractor reservations.
Queen Maxima then met with President William Samoei Ruto in Nairobi. They discussed the importance of improving access to quality digital banking services and financial health.
Queen Maxima first wore her Max Mara outfit with her Maison Vaincourt belt, her Giuseppe Zanotti flats and a Marina Raphael bag. She also wore Mango earrings (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima) with Tom Ford sunglasses.
Queen Maxima then wore her Oscar de la Renta outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Chanel bag.
