Spanish Royal Family attends 2023 Princess of Asturias Awards
On Friday evening, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofia, and Queen Sofia attended the 2023 Princess of Asturias Awards.
This year’s winners are Mary's Meals (Concord), Meryl Streep (Arts), Nuccio Ordine (Communication and Humanities), Hélène Carrère d'Encausse( Social Sciences), Eliud Kipchoge (Sports), Haruki Murakami (Literature), Jeffrey Gordon, E. Peter Greenberg and Bonnie L. Bassler (Technical and Scientific Research), and Medicines for Neglected Diseases Initiative (International Cooperation).
Both King Felipe and Princess Leonor made speeches during the ceremony and Princess Leonor handed out the awards.
Queen Letizia wore a Carolina Herrera dress (with thanks to Nuria) with Aquazzura pumps, her Lambertson Truex clutch, and her Coreterno ring.
Princess Leonor wore a Moises Nieto jacket and skirt (with thanks to Nuria) with Mascaro pumps and her mother’s Bulgari earrings.
Infanta Sofia wore a Cardié dress with her Massimo Dutti flats.
Queen Sofia wore a The Kooples kimono with a black outfit and her Loewe bag.
