Crown Princess Mary's visit to New York - Day 1
This week, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were in New York to attend UNGA events and support the launch of Denmark’s bid for a seat at the Security Council.
On Wednesday, Crown Princess Mary started her solo agenda by attending the WWF World Wildlife Fund and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's event "Global Plastics Treaty Business Coalition" on mobilizing businesses to eliminate plastic pollution and microplastics on land and at sea.
She then attended a meeting with the executive director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Dr. Natalie Kanem.
The meeting focused on UNFPA's strategic plan for 2022-2025 and the 30th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in 2024.
Afterward, Crown Princess Mary attended the annual Salas lecture on "The role of trade in improving the lives of girls and women".
In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended a welcoming reception hosted by President Biden and the First Lady at the American Museum of National History.
Crown Princess Mary wore a Jonathan Simkhai dress with her Valentino pumps and her Prada bag. She paired the outfit with her Sophie Bille Brahe earrings as well as Dulong and Rebekka Notkin bracelets and rings. She also wore her Thierry Lasry sunglasses.
In the evening, Crown Princess Mary wore a Rochas outfit with a nude clutch, her Sophie Bille Brahe earrings and Dulong and Rebekka Notkin bracelets.
