On Friday evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary hosted a gala dinner at Christianborg Castle.

Princess Benedikte was also in attendance. Sadly, Queen Margrethe could not attend as she tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week.

The gala dinner was held for the government, the Danish Parliament, and the Danish members of the European Parliament to mark Queen Margrethe’s Golden Jubilee.

After the dinner ended, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary opened the ball.

Crown Prince Frederik danced with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen while Crown Princess Mary danced with Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke.

Crown Princess Mary wore her David Andersen gown with Gianvito Rossi pumps and her J.Furmani clutch. She paired the outfit with her wedding tiara and her diamond pendant earrings purchased at a Bruun Rasmussen auction.
