Crown Princess Mary attends 2022 Carlsberg Foundation's Research Awards Ceremony

On Wednesday evening, Crown Princess Mary attended the 2022 Carlsberg Foundation's Research Awards Ceremony at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.

The Carlsberg Foundation gives two research awards to a natural sciences researcher and a humanities / social sciences researcher who have contributed to crucial scientific research results. The prize comes with DKK 250,000 in personal honors and DKK 750,000 in support of a research project.

Crown Princess Mary attends the event each year. This year, the natural sciences award went to Dorthe Dahl-Jensen from the Niels Bohr Institute for her research on Arctic ice, the importance of freshwater for marine life in the sea, and climate change throughout Earth's history. Frederik Stjernfelt from AalborgUniversitet received the second award for his research efforts in subjects as diverse as semiotics, philosophy of science, literary theory, biosemiotics, history of ideas, and political philosophy.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Collette Dinnigan gown - which she shortened- with new Malone Souliers pumps and her Judith Leiber clutch. She paired the outfit with Dulong and Rebekka Notkin jewels. Crown Princess Mary also had a new Decadent bag in her car, which was photographed when she exited her car while arriving.
