On Friday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde spent their fourth day in Congo as part of their week-long state visit. The Royal Couple left Kinshasa and arrived in Lubumbashi in the early afternoon.

He said: “That future belongs to you. You are here to study, to receive an education, in circumstances that we know are difficult. That proves that you have faith in the future, in yourself, and in your country. We know the sacrifices this will require from you and your parents. We don't underestimate them. We appreciate all the more your choice to develop your personal talents in order to be able to take up your responsibility later in Congolese society. You are part of a generation that is well aware of the challenges of our societies. And we know how much you, more than any other youth in the world, long for security, peace, and justice.”
