Monégasque Royals Attend Qualifying Ahead of F1 Grand Prix of Monaco
Today, Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, Andrea Casiraghi, and Sasha Casiraghi attended the Qualifying Sessions of the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. The 2022 Monaco Grand Prix will take place over 78 laps of the 3.337-kilometre Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo on Sunday, May 29.
The family walked around, greeting drivers and stopping at different stables. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were seen in conversation with drivers Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel as well as celebrities like Patrick Dempsey.
Prince Albert is a big Formula 1 fan, it was his grandfather, Prince Pierre, who initiated the Grand Prix in 1921. The other members of the Monégasque Royal Family are also no stranger to attending the races. Pierre Casiraghi has participated in a few auto races, most notably the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup in 2014.
Princess Charlene wore a long tunic style top from Akris which she paired with white trousers. She carried her Akris Anouk Clutch and wore black leather Christian Dior Asymmetrical Pumps. On her head were perched a pair of Prada sunglasses.
Princess Alexandra wore a new Batsheva dress which she paired with a statement pair of Bottega Veneta Pumps. She carried her Celine bag and wore a pair of Celine sunglasses.
