During the gathering, Crown Princess Victoria handed out medals and scholarships. The Academy's highest prize, Gad Rausing's Award for Distinguished Humanistic Research in 2022, was awarded to Marie-Louise Bech Nosch who is a professor of history at the University of Copenhagen.
