Austrian State Visit to Belgium - Day 1
Today, the President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen and the First Lady Doris Schmidauer started their 3-day state visit to Belgium. They were officially welcomed by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde on the Place des Palais.
Afterward, the Royal Couple and the Presidential couple posed for official photos inside the Palace and the Presidential couple signed the guest book.
In the afternoon, Queen Mathilde and the First Lady visited the Chapelle Musicale where they visited a music studio and attended a master class by violinist and conductor Augustin Dumay.
In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a dinner at Laeken Castle during which both King Philippe and the President of Austria made speeches highlighting the good relations between Belgium and Austria.
For the day events, Queen Mathilde wore a new Natan Couture coat with a Natan Couture dress. She paired the outfit with a new Fabienne Delvigne hat, a repeated Fabienne Delvigne clutch, and Natan pumps (with thanks to ModeKoninginMathilde). She also wore her Rolex watch.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore her Dries van Noten printed dress with fuchsia accessories including Giorgio Armani pumps as well as her Rolex watch.
