The Countess of Wessex visits New York City - Days 1 & 2
This week, the Countess of Wessex is undertaking an official visit to New York City to attend several events related to her patronages.
On Monday, to mark Commonwealth Day, the Countess of Wessex first met with Consul-Generals from Commonwealth countries and planted a tree at The Queen Elizabeth II Garden.
Afterward, she visited the St George’s Society of New York to open their new offices and hear more about their work to support vulnerable people with British and Commonwealth heritage in the city.
In the evening, the Countess of Wessex attended a Commonwealth Day reception hosted by UN Women at the Yale Club.
For her first outfit on Monday, the Countess of Wessex wore her Max Mara coat with her Loewe leather dress, Saint Laurent ankle boots, and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She paired the outfit with her Cassandra Goad necklace and Lucia Odescalchi earrings.
In the evening, she wore her Victoria Beckham dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps and Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her G.Collins and Sons earrings.
On Tuesday, the Countess of Wessex first attended the Meetings on the Ukraine conflict’s impact on Women and Girls held by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office at the United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations.
Afterward, she had lunch with Bineta Dinop, the African Union Special Envoy on Women, Peace, and Security.
In the afternoon, the Countess of Wessex delivered the keynote speech during a meeting at the United Nations’ Headquarters held by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace, and Security, the Group of Friends of Women in Afghanistan as well as United Nations Women.
In the evening, the Countess of Wessex attended a dinner hosted by Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace, and Security but no photos were published.
For her day of meetings, the Countess of Wessex wore her Victoria Beckham pantsuit with her Chloé top, Jimmy Choo pumps, and her Sophie Habsburg bag.
