On Saturday, the Swedish Royal Family - without Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill - attended the 2022 Nobel Prizes Ceremony.

During the official ceremony, the King handed out the prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, and Literature as well as the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. The Queen and the Crown Princess couple were watching from the stage while Prince Carl-Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Christina, and her husband Todd Magnusson were in the audience.

Following the ceremony, an official gala dinner took place with the Royal Family in attendance. Tomorrow evening, the King will host another gala dinner for the Nobels Laureates at the Royal Palace.

Queen Silvia wore a purple satin and lace gown which paired beautifully with the Amethyst Parure from the vaults. On her wrists, she wore her usual stack of bracelets including her Engelbert Stockholm Absolutely Knot Bracelet and her Cartier Love Bracelet. She wore Jimmy Choo pumps and carried a silver clutch.

Crown Princess Victoria wore a pink duchesse-satin gown created by Camilla Thulin. This gown included lots of draping along the bodice and a v-neck in the back. She wore the Carl XIV Johan tiara (more commonly referred to as the 6-Button Tiara). She wore the Vasa Earrings, the Bernadotte Zig-Zag diamond bracelet, and an older pink and blue necklace that she has personally had since the 1990s. She carried her Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Knot Clutch.

Princess Sofia wore a new gown from Ida Lanto. The light blue gown included silk flower details (made by Tim Mårtenson). She wore a new setting of her Wedding Tiara with topazes- which perfectly paired with her diamond and topaz earrings from LWL Jewelry. She also wore a diamond bracelet and a ring both by LWL Jewelry. She carried her Christian Louboutin Vanite clutch.
