Crown Princess Victoria visits Kenya - Day 2
On Tuesday, Crown Princess Victoria spent her second day in Kenya and she was joined by Crown Prince Haakon.
They first attended a breakfast meeting with local UN and UNDP representatives at the Tribe Hotel in Nairobi.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria and Crown Prince Haakon visited the Kitengela Country Waste Management Entrepreneurship Hub. The Hub is working to solve local plastic pollution.
During their visit, they met with the founders of a UNDP-supported app that acts as a waste management tool but also as a source of information on recycling and waste management.
They also met with waste pickers who make a living by collecting, sorting, and recycling plastic waste that would otherwise end up in the wild.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria and Crown Prince Haakon attended a United Nations Development Program reception at the Tribe Hotel.
Crown Princess Victoria first wore a new By Malina dress with her Yves Saint Laurent sandals and her Saint Laurent bag. She paired the outfit with her Kreuger earrings and Epoch watch.
Crown Princess Victoria then wore a white shirt with an H&M skirt and her Adidas sneakers. She also wore her Kreuger earrings, her Kreuger necklace, and her Epoch watch.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore her By Malina gown with her Yves Saint Laurent sandals and her Bottega Veneta bag. She also wore her Ebba Brahe earrings, her Engelbert necklace, and her Epoch watch. Her necklace is a gift she received earlier in the afternoon.
