King Felipe and Queen Letizia host lunch for the President of the Republic of Colombia
Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted an official lunch for the President of the Republic of Colombia Iván Duque and the First Lady at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
The President of the Republic of Colombia and the First Lady are currently on an official visit to Spain and the President attended a meeting with King Felipe before the lunch. The Royal Couple and the Presidential couple welcomed guests before the lunch.
In his speech during the lunch, King Felipe said: "The ties that unite us do not only look to the past but are decidedly projected into the future, marking a joint path when facing the great challenges of the current global era. Spain and Colombia share such important approaches on the need for green reconstruction, the commitment to renewable energies, or equality between men and women.”
Queen Letizia wore her Massimo Dutti red dress with her Carolina Herrera red slingback pumps. She also wore her Aldao Joyeros earrings and her Karen Hallam gold ring.
