Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visit Västra Götaland County
Today, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel - the Duke and Duchess of Vastergotland - visited Västra Götaland County. These visits of. the counties are undertaken by the royal family this fall in order to learn more about how these counties handled the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Crown Princess couple spent the day in Skövde where they first visited Skaraborg Hospital where they heard more about the infection rate in the county and met staff to thank them for their efforts during the pandemic.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Kavelbro High School, an upper secondary special school, where they met the staff and students who told them about the opportunity they had to keep going to school even when other schools were closed.
The students also performed outside the school and Prince Daniel rode a bicycle with one of the school's students.
For lunch, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the Skövde Pentecostal Church to learn more about their various projects in the municipality and how they adapted those projects and activities online during the pandemic.
They also met the founders of the association Ätbart, which collects leftover food from shops and restaurants, as well as representatives from the Gothenburg Opera's local stage in Skövde who talked about the cultural life in the city and how it was affected during the pandemic.
The Crown Princess couple’s visit to Skövde ended at Skövde Science Park where they heard more about how the pandemic affects the business community in the county.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a new By Malina suit with a white blouse, her Little Liffner bag, and Ralph Lauren pumps. She paired the outfit with her Efva Attling Cloud earrings and necklaces, her Corinne hair tie, her usual stack of bracelets, and her Epoch watch.
