Today, Queen Letizia opened the exhibition "Emilia Pardo Bazan, The Challenge of Modernity" at the Spanish National Library in Madrid.

Queen Letizia toured the exhibition which aims to explore the multifaceted character of Emilia Pardo Bazán and how important her work and life were to the history of the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The exhibition also focuses on the issues of the professionalization of the writer, as well as the female celebrity and its paradoxes.

Queen Letizia wore her Pedro del Hierro sleeveless dress with her Magrit snakeskin pumps and clutch. She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and Karen Hallam gold ring.
