Queen Letizia celebrates World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day in Madrid
Today, Queen Letizia attended an event marking World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day in Madrid ahead of May 8th.
During the event, Queen Letizia handed out the organization’s 2020 Gold Medals and the 2021 Plaque of Honor to staff and volunteers. Queen Letizia also made a speech thanking the staff and volunteers and recalling her visit in May 2020: “What I verified that morning in May 2020 was that the Red Cross responds, accompanies and help those who have unimaginable difficulties to maintain a dignified life. For all that, for each day of work, thank you very much. "
Queen Letizia wore her Zara floral dress with her Hugo Boss pink pumps. She also wore her Yanes earrings and Karen Hallam gold ring.
