Queen Letizia visits the “Concepción Arenal. La Pasión Humanista 1820-1893" exhibition
Today, Queen Letizia visited the “Concepción Arenal. La Pasión Humanista 1820-1893" exhibition organized by the National Library of Spain and Spanish Cultural Action in Madrid.
The exhibition is dedicated to the thinker Concepción Arenal, as January 31, 2020 marked the 200 years of her birth in Ferrol. Concepción Arenal was the most important thinker of the 19th century and a key figure in Spanish culture in the forging of a liberal national consciousness. The exhibition aims to highlight Arenal’s work and shows her as a woman moved by an intense passion to know, to understand and to contribute to the improvement of her world.
Queen Letizia wore a new Massimo Dutti dress (which is also owned by Queen Maxima) and her Carolina Herrera black coat. She paired the outfit with her Lodi pumps and Karen Hallam ring.
