Queen Maxima attends the launch of the Gender & GGZ Alliance and visits homeless young people
Today, Queen Maxima attended the launch of the Gender & GGZ Alliance during a meeting of WOMEN Inc. This alliance aims to improve the quality of mental health care and raise more awareness about gender diversity within mental health care.
A lack of attention to gender differences within mental health care can lead to incorrect diagnoses and the lack of appropriate and timely care. The alliance thus wants to raise more awareness about the role of sex and gender in scientific research and education among other fields. During the meeting, Queen Maxima was presented with the first copy of 'The Mission and Knowledge Prioritization' of the Gender & GGZ Alliance.
Queen Maxima also paid a digital visit to homeless young people to talk about the national action program for homeless young people and the way in which Haarlem implements it.
For the first event, Queen Maxima wore a blouse which we assume is by Natan. For her second outfit, she wore her Claes Iversen jacket over a new top.
