Crown Princess Mary delivers the Heart Association's and the Children's Heart Foundation's Research Scholarships
This afternoon, Crown Princess Mary delivered research scholarships awarded by the Heart Association and Children's Heart Foundation. Crown Princess Mary is the patron of both organizations.
In her speech, Crown Princess Mary said: "Since the beginning of 1962, the Heart Association has allocated over 600 million DKK for heart research here at home. It couldn't be done without the help of the Danes. It is through the memberships and donations of the Danes to the association that every year you are able to support the heart research here at home and therefore help save Danish lives. We owe members and supporters of the Heart Association a big thank you for that. "
The recipients of the scholarships this year are Ph.d. -student Flemming Javier Olsen from Herlev & Gentofte Hospital, Professor Henning Bundgaard from Rigshospitalet, and Adjunct Peter Agger from Aarhus University Hospital.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Willow jacket with her Alexander McQueen skirt and Céline belt. She paired the outfit with her Quidam clutch and Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also wore her Sophie Bille Brahe earrings and Emmons vintage brooch.
