On Monday, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited the University of Stirling in Scotland to learn more about the research project “Designing homes for healthy cognitive aging” of which the Silviahemmet Foundation is a partner.
On Friday, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the reopening of an accessibility-adapted loop on the Sörmlandsleden which is a 100 km long hiking trail.
On Tuesday, Queen Mathilde was in Paris, France. She first attended the World Mental Health Summit as Defender of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Afterward, she met with Audrey Azoulay, the Director-General of UNESCO, to discuss the outlook for the education sector after the pandemic.
Queen Mathilde also attended a working meeting with OECD officials on the quality of teaching and citizenship education, as well as mental health at school and at work.

On Wednesday, Queen Mathilde visited the wellness area of L’Essentiel, a specialized division of the CHU UCL Namur for breast cancer patients.

On Thursday, Queen Mathilde met with Nyagoy Nyong’o, CEO of Fairtrade International, and Nicolas Lambert, Director of Fairtrade Belgium as part of Fairtrade's annual week. She received a Fair Card Award as recognition for her commitment to the most vulnerable.

On Thursday evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited an exhibition showcasing the works of British artist David Hockney.

On Wednesday, Queen Sofia presented the Fundación MAPFRE 2020 Social Awards to the singer Raphael, the ONCE Social Group, the Juanfe Foundation, and the professor of Insurance Law and Commercial Law, Abel B. Veiga.

On Thursday, Queen Sofia chaired a meeting of the International Circle of the Reina Sofia School of Music. The International Circle is an organ of the school which aims to promote the school internationally.

On Thursday evening, Queen Sofia attended the opening concert of the Reina Sofía School of Music Course. The concert also marked the 30th anniversary of the School.
