On Thursday, Queen Sonja attended a meeting to decide the winner of the 2021 Queen Sonja’s School Prize. It was awarded to Sandnessjøen upper secondary school in Nordland who will receive the Prize next December.

On Thursday, it was announced that the Countess of Wessex had become the new Patron of OSCAR Foundation which supports the education of children in India. To mark the announcement, she took part in a Zoom call with children she met in Mumbai in 2019.
